The ingredients:

2 or 3 well ripe bananas, One and a half cup of whole milk, 2 eggs with 2 cup of flour, brown sugar 1/4 (according to your taste), 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, and 1 cup of chopped walnuts with coconut oil/ghee/butter to the oil pan.

Cooking equipment:

A non-stick skillet or a griddle, a camp stove, a big bowl to mix the ingredients, a spoon or a fork to chop things, silicon/plastic/metal spatula.

Cooking Method:

Just put bananas into the ball and mash them using the folk. When you get a smooth banana mixture, add two eggs, sugar, and milk. And then beat all of them with the folk until you get a fine smooth. (if the mixture looks dry, add some more milk)

After that, start to add dry ingredients starting from flour and baking powder. Keep in mind adding them slowly to the mixture while beating. Then, it will help to combine the dry with wet things. After mixing the flour, add the other small things like cinnamon powder and salt.

Once you make the batter, heat your skillet and add some butter/ghee/coconut. Then, pour 1/3 cup of your batter to a nice shape into the middle of the skillet. And add those chopped walnuts on top as a decoration.

When you cook it for around 3 minutes, you will see the top starts to make bubbles, and the sides seem well cooked. That is the time to turn it into the other side by using the spatula. After that, let it cook until the surface shows a golden brown color.

Like that, just continue the process until finish the batter. I suggest you add more butter or ghee to the pan when you make another one from the batter.

If you can bring a combination of flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon powder, and salt in a sealed container from home, it will make you easy.

Camping Food Ideas: French Toast

We all know that French toast is a camp classic. But, here I will tell you an exceptionally easy way to make them. And, I’m sure you will add it to your camp food ideas list.

Many campers claim that they went wrong when making French toasts. So, I suggest you read the following recipe. It won’t disappoint you. (Strictly follow the amounts of ingredients mentioned below).

Camping Food Ideas French Toast

Ingredients:

1/2 lb of bread, 3 eggs, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 4 tablespoons of butter, 1 cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, berries, or Maple Syrup for topping of French fries.

Equipment:

A non-stick skillet, a silicon spatula, a camp stove.

Before diving into the recipe, just consider the following tips to achieve delicious French toasts.

Special tips:

Take a fresh loaf of bread and slice it yourself as the previously sliced bread is too thin for making French toasts. So, slice by yourself thickly.

The ideal mixture ratio is 3 eggs and 1 cup of milk.

More the time you soak up bread in the egg mixture, it will result in more crispy and quality toasts. And the ideal dipping time is 10 seconds on both sides. But, do not let it totally saturate.

Add more butter to the pan and let it heat evenly. From 4 tablespoons of butter, you can fry 8 slices of bread from it.

Cooking Method:

First, as I said to you earlier,  cut the bread by yourself into 3/4″- 1″ thick slices. Then, beat the eggs thoroughly in a sufficiently large bowl and add milk and nutmeg, cinnamon powder, vanilla, and sugar. And make sure everything is mixed well.

The next step is to let heat butter on the pan under medium heat. While heating butter, you can soak bread in the egg mixture. (10 seconds each side)

After soaking the bread slices, you can sprinkle some sugar on each side to get an additional golden brown color with a crispy layer. Then, fry the soaked bread slices in the buttered skillet until it shows a golden brown color. It will take around 3 minutes per side.

Finally, continue the process for the whole loaf of bread. Before serving these delicious French toasts, you can add fresh fruits, maple syrup, and a cup of hot tea. You will have a great camping day after this amazing camping breakfast idea. (camping food ideas)
