Camping is my all-time favorite outdoor activity with my family. Especially in the summer. But in the beginning, I was very stressed about camping food as I’m not good at cooking things. Especially for breakfast. Because, when you are camping with your family, everyone wakes up in the morning looking for energetic and delicious food. So, I did some experiments and discovered the following great camping food ideas to try for breakfast.
And trust me, everyone will love them.

Camping Food Ideas: Banana Bread Pancakes
Everybody likes to eat pancakes. Especially, when you are camping. Suppose if you are able to make an easy banana bread pancake for your camping breakfast, it will be a small celebration. And also it is delicious and energetic. So, I will tell you how to make it.
2 or 3 well ripe bananas, One and a half cup of whole milk, 2 eggs with 2 cup of flour, brown sugar 1/4 (according to your taste), 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, and 1 cup of chopped walnuts with coconut oil/ghee/butter to the oil pan.
A non-stick skillet or a griddle, a camp stove, a big bowl to mix the ingredients, a spoon, or a fork to chop things, silicon/plastic/metal spatula.
Just put bananas into the ball and mash them using the folk. When you get a smooth banana mixture, then add two eggs, sugar, and milk into it. And then beat all of them with the folk until you get a fine smooth. (if the mixture looks dry, add some more milk)
After that start to add dry ingredients starting from flour and baking powder. Keep in mind adding them slowly to the mixture while beating. Then, it will help to combine the dry with wet things. After mixing the flour, add the other small things like cinnamon powder and salt.
Once you make the batter, heat your skillet and add some butter/ghee/coconut to it. Then, pour 1/3 cup of your batter to a nice shape into the middle of the skillet. And add those chopped walnuts on top as a decoration.
When you cook it for around 3 minutes, you will see the top starts to make bubbles and the sides seem well cooked. That is the time to turn it into the other side by using the spatula. After that, let it cook until the surface shows a golden brown color.
Like that, just continue the process until finish the batter. I suggest you add more butter or ghee to the pan when you are making another one from the batter.

Many campers claim that they went wrong when making French toasts. So, I suggest you read the following recipe. It won’t disappoint you. (Strictly follow the amounts of ingredients mentioned below).
1/2 lb of bread, 3 eggs, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 4 tablespoons of butter, 1 cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, berries, or Maple Syrup for topping of French fries.

Before diving into the recipe, just consider the following tips to achieve delicious French toasts.
Take a fresh loaf of bread and slice it by yourself as the previously sliced bread is too thin for making French toasts. So, slice by yourself thickly.

8 eggs, half cup of milk, half teaspoon of salt, a little bit of ground pepper, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, thinly sliced shallot, cherry tomatoes, chopped cup basils, and 1/2 cup of shredded gruyere cheese.

First, you need to prepare a campfire/charcoal. While letting it heats, you have to start beating thoroughly the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl. And keep them aside.
Then, keep the skillet on medium heat and put 1 tablespoon of olive oil into it. When oil heats, add shallots and let it fry for around 10 minutes until it shows a brown color. Once you see the color, just reduce the heat or move the skillet towards a low heat place.

1 cup of chickpea flour, 3 tablespoons of aquafaba (the liquid exists in the chickpeas can), 1 cup of water, 3 tablespoons of nutritional yeast, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin, 1/2 tablespoon of chili powder, a little bit of salt, and black pepper.
Now, the ingredients of veggies are diced onion, 1 clove garlic, 1 small tomato, 1 tablespoon of coconut oil.

Here are the simple instructions of making a delicious chickpea flour scramble.

1/3 cup of vegetable oil, 6 corn tortillas, 1/2 diced red onions, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 cup of tomato sauce, chili peppers, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 4 eggs. If you need some more nutrients, then just add a topping with avocado, cilantro, grated cheese, fresh lime, and onions.

The first step is to fry tortilla triangles over a high heat skillet. For that, you need to heat the skillet and add some oil into it. Once the oil gets heat under high heat, add tortillas into the skillet as one layer. Let them fry until show a golden brown color.
After frying, set aside on a paper towel to drain. Then, repeat the process until complete all tortilla triangles.

Here’s the recipe.
1 cup of flour, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, pumpkin spice, and baking powder, a little bit of salt, 1 cup of milk, 1 egg, and butter/ghee/oil.
To make the special spicy maple syrup: You need 1/4 of maple syrup, 1 teaspoon of pumpkin spice.
Non-stick skillet, camp stove, spatula, fork, and a bowl.

Since I’m a huge fan of French toasts, here’s another great recipe to add to your camping foods list. It is a delicious Banana Coconut French Toast. Here’s the quick and easy recipe.
1 crusty French bread, 1 ripe banana, coconut oil, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder and vanilla extract, a little bit of salt, and 1 can of coconut milk.
Also maple syrup, some fresh blueberries, and shredded coconut flakes.
Camp stove, non-stick skillet, fork, and a large bowl
Mash well the banana in the large bowl and add coconut milk along with vanilla, cinnamon, and salt into the bowl. Combine them all until you get a smooth batter.
Now let the skillet heat and while it is heating you have to slice the bread yourself. Once you sliced it, just soak the slices for a few seconds (both sides).
Let the excess batter drip off and fry the bread slices on the skillet until it turns into golden brown. (around 3 minutes each side)

Here’re the instructions to make it.
To make sausage patties, you need ground pork (1 pond), 2 teaspoons of dried herbs (like sage, rosemary, and thyme), a little bit of salt.
T make sandwich assembly, you need 6 eggs along with 6 slices of cheese and 6 English muffins.
To make Sriracha honey sauce, you need half a cup of honey and 2 tablespoons of sriracha.
A non-stick skillet, camp stove, bowl, and a spatula.
First, you need to prepare sausages. For that thoroughly mix the ground pork, herbs, and salt in the bowl. Once it seems combined, make around 6 patties. Then, heat the skillet over the camp stove and let it get hot. After that, keep the sausages on it. Let them cook for around 3 minutes each side.

Do you like peaches? Well, I’m a huge fan of peach. Especially when it uses for pancake toppings. Now, I’m going to give you a special recipe for your camping breakfast called Grilled Peach and Pecan Pancakes. Just follow the guidelines.
For the preparation of the pancakes: 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of milk (or powdered milk), 1 cup of water, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 egg, a little bit of salt, 6 teaspoons of butter/ghee/oil.
For the preparation of grilled peaches: 2 ripe and sliced peaches, pecans, maple syrup.
A Skillet, a bowl, fork/spoon, a camp stove/grill, spatula, and knife.
First mix flour, milk, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. (Actually, if you use milk powder, you can do this part at home and bring it to the campsite. it will save more time).
Then, add eggs, and water (add water only if you used milk powder) into the dry mixture and mix all. Just make sure that everything is combined well. But, do not over mix.
Then, heat the skillet over medium heat and add ghee/oil/or butter into it. Once butter heat, you can add a little portion of pancake batter onto the skillet. Keep each side of the pancake around 3 minutes until it gives a golden brown color. Continue the process with the rest of the batter.
While the pancakes are heating on the skillet, you can place the sliced peach on the skillet just for caramelizing a little bit. Once you notice the color, just take them off.
Now, you are ready to serve the pancakes with peach, maple syrup, and chopped pecans.
